Description

Tactical Combat Casualty Care for All Service Members (TCCC-ASM) is a 1-day course created by the U.S. Department of Defense Committee on TCCC (Co-TCCC) to teach evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies to non-medical personnel.

The course is highly interactive, consisting primarily of hands-on skills. Participants must be physically able to perform the TCCC skills, which may include running, crouching, and crawling. Simulated blood is used extensively in this program, so participants should wear clothing they are willing to get stained. No live weapons will be used during this class.

NAEMT’s TCCC courses are accredited by CAPCE and recognized by NREMT. EMTs and paramedics will receive 8 hours of continuing education. Students who complete this course and pass the required tests will receive an NAEMT TCCC certification valid for four years.
