This course, which is approximately 5 hours long (including breaks), provides attendees with the foundation required to interpret EKGs. Rather than focusing on memorizing lots of different pictures of EKGs, this course teaches the “how” and “why” upon which EKG interpretation is built. The intent is that after completing this course, participants should have the tools they need to continue studying EKG samples on their own time.

No prior experience is necessary, but a basic understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology is very helpful. We recommend that you bring a few different colored pens/pencils.

Participants will receive approximately 4 hours of continuing education credit valid with the Wyoming Office of EMS. The course will be conducted at the MIG Labs classroom at 400 S. Gillette Ave., Ste. 105, Gillette, WY 82716.
